The Women’s International Trophy is one of the most distinctive international tasting competitions. In Mainz, an exclusively female expert jury of experienced professionals evaluates the submitted products in a blind tasting. The focus lies on sensory quality, harmony, aroma, and overall impression.

Gold for six Weyermann® specialties

Weyermann® Johann Baptist Doppelkorn impressed with its mild, well-balanced character and its special combination of raw wheat, Weyermann® Pale Wheat Malt, and maturation in a chestnut wood barrel.

Weyermann® Blutorangenbrand M.u.D. delights with its fruity aroma, clear structure, and refined elegance. It represents the creative distilling expertise of the Weyermann® Distillery and special moments of enjoyment from artisanal small-batch production.

Weyermann® Special Eight Single Malt Whisky combines eight selected Weyermann® malts in a multifaceted composition. Delicate notes of fruit, vanilla, and nuts, together with harmonious barrel maturation, characterize this special distillate.

The Weyermann® Weyerol® bitter liqueur combines selected citrus fruits, herbs, and roots with the malt expertise of Weyermann® Malt. Refined with Weyermann® Eraclea Pilsner Malt, it becomes a well-balanced aperitif with a fresh citrus note and subtle bitterness.

We are especially delighted that Weyermann® Weyerol® Alcohol-Free also received gold. This alcohol-free version captures the characteristic aroma of the original while offering a distinctive option for alcohol-free aperitif moments. We also extend a big thank you to the Weyermann® Pilot Brewery team led by Weyermann® Brewmaster Constantin Förtner.

The series of gold awards is completed by Weyermann® Bitter, which impressed with its clear aroma, balanced bitterness, and harmonious character.
