Weyermann® Academy Health: AOK Ergo Multiplier Training at Weyermann®

As part of the Weyermann® Academy Health program, another valuable workplace health promotion initiative was held at Weyermann® in cooperation with AOK Bavaria: the AOK Ergo Multiplier Training.

The aim of this training was to qualify selected employees as multipliers for ergonomic working practices and movement-friendly behavior in everyday work life. Through its multiplier training programs, AOK Bavaria provides practical knowledge that helps establish health-related topics sustainably within a company and enables them to be shared directly among the workforce.

The training focused on the fundamentals of ergonomic workplace design, back-friendly working habits, and the correct adjustment of office chairs, desks, and work environments. In addition, participants received valuable ideas on how to integrate short movement sessions effectively into their daily routines.

As trained Ergo Multipliers, the participating employees will be able to pass on their knowledge directly to colleagues and serve as local contacts for ergonomic questions. In this way, a sustainable transfer of knowledge is created within the company, contributing to the prevention of common musculoskeletal challenges, particularly those affecting the back.

With this training, Weyermann® has provided another important impulse in the field of workplace health promotion. The initiative strengthens the health competence of our employees and encourages a conscious, movement-friendly approach to everyday work.
