Honorary Award and Four Gold Medals at Baden Best Spirits 2026
A special achievement for the Weyermann® Distillery: At this year’s Baden Best Spirits 2026, four Weyermann® specialties received gold awards. Our Weyermann® Doppelwacholder also received an honorary award.

Baden Best Spirits is organized by the Verband Badens Brenner distillers’ association. The 40th edition of the awards took place in 2026, with the award ceremony held in Sasbachwalden on April 26, 2026.
The awards are among the largest competitions of their kind. In 2026, more than 2,000 distillates, liqueurs, and spirits were submitted and evaluated by around 40 examiners.
The honorary award for our Weyermann® Doppelwacholder is a special distinction. It is presented when all examiners at the tasting table award a product the maximum number of points.
The other gold medals also represent the diversity of the Weyermann® Distillery. Weyermann® Wahlsche Schnapsbirnenbrand, matured in an acacia wood barrel, combines fruity aromas with mild notes of wood. Weyermann® Roggstar Single Cask Rye Whisky presents a distinctive whisky character with its own characteristic rye aroma. The Weyermann® Weyerol® aperitif liqueur combines citrus fruits, herbs, and roots with the malt expertise of Weyermann® Malt.
Four gold medals and one honorary award are wonderful recognition for enjoyment from Bamberg.
