Weyermann® again expands its caramelizing and roasting capacities in Bamberg.
The planning for two additional roasting drums of the latest generation has now begun with the renowned and competent Swiss company Bühler.
The roasting technology opens up even more diverse possibilities to bring out further aromas and flavor components in caramel malts. Thus, Weyermann® decisively complements and expands its portfolio of almost 90 malts. Once again, Weyermann® demonstrates its passion for innovative developments for malt and beer.
This brings the total number of available roasting drums to nine, ensuring the expansion of Weyermann® as the world market leader in the specialty malt industry for the years to come.
The conclusion of the contract and the kick-off meeting of all the key persons took place in a relaxed atmosphere in our Weyermann® Visitors Center. Of course, everybody involved followed the strict hygiene concept.
