Weyermann® on Tour: Alirio Caldera at the Agraria Congresso Técnico in Brazil
Alirio Caldera, Weyermann® International Malting & Brewing Expert, travelled to Brazil in April as a Weyermann® Ambassador to attend the Agraria Congresso Técnico.
Once again, the specialist congress ranked among the important industry events for the Brazilian brewing scene and brought together brewers, raw material experts, technology providers and industry partners.
The event was organised by Agraria, our long-standing Weyermann® distribution partner for Brazil.
Weyermann® was represented on site with its own area.
Alirio Caldera used the event for numerous conversations with trade visitors about raw material quality, malt selection, sensory profiles and the many possible applications of Weyermann® specialty malts.
The focus was on practical questions relating to recipe development, the flavour expression of traditional beer styles and the importance of high-quality heirloom and terroir malts for consistent and distinctive beer quality.
The Agraria Congresso Técnico offered a varied programme with expert presentations, practical insights and opportunities for direct dialogue within the Brazilian brewing community.
The event created an environment in which technical expertise, international perspectives and regional brewing practice were closely connected.
Following the congress, Alirio Caldera visited customers in the region together with our distribution partner Agraria.
These conversations provided valuable opportunities to deepen existing business relationships, discuss technical questions directly and gather new inspiration for future joint projects.
The visit to Brazil once again showed the strong interest of the Brazilian brewing scene in high-quality raw materials, technical expertise and reliable cooperation.
The many conversations during the congress and the customer visits underlined the importance of personal exchange for long-term partnerships.
