1st Weyermann® Harvest Festival in Clingen

As the first event of this kind, our bosses Sabine Weyermann and Thomas Kraus-Weyermann as well as Franziska Weyermann recently invited loyal supply partners from the region to a harvest festival at our production site in Clingen, Thuringia.

The idea behind this celebration was to thank our reliable, long-standing partners for their efforts and commitment and to express our appreciation.

Our boss Thomas Kraus-Weyermann opened the festival with a speech in which he discussed the brewing barley harvest. Stefanie Augner, raw materials purchasing department, then gave an insight into the current activities surrounding the harvest as well as an outlook on the variety planning for the harvest 2024.

During a factory tour with Jens Hell, Weyermann® operations manager in Clingen, and Michael Bachmann, Weyermann® team leader production in Clingen, our partners looked behind the scenes of our production and saw how our wonderful craft terroir and heirloom malts were created from their products.

Our boss then invited all guests to the table to enjoy suckling pig on a spit and delicious beers from the Weyermann® brewmanufacture. Delicious ice cream from Ziegenhof Peter was served as dessert.

The highlight of the event was certainly the exhibition of historical tractors and combine harvesters, which were provided by the local heritage association in Obertopfstedt and local farmers.

We are happy that with this completely successful day we were able to strengthen our red and yellow bond with our loyal partners from agriculture.

We would like to thank our fantastic organization team for the excellent preparation and organization of the festival.

We would like to thank all Weyermann® employees involved and the helpers from the Obertopfstedt local heritage association for turning our Big Bag hall into the beautiful festive hall it was.

We would also like to thank the Obertopfstedt local heritage association for providing the beautiful decorations!

A big thank you goes to our caterer Ossi’s BBQ from Bad Bibra!

Last but not least, we would like to thank our bosses Sabine Weyermann and Thomas Kraus-Weyermann as well as our junior boss Franziska Weyermann, who started a new tradition with this beautiful idea!
