The fields are coming to life: Our dedicated contract farmers are currently laying the foundation for malting barley 2025, skillfully and passionately planting the promising malting barley seed into the fertile soils.

We are pleased to report that sowing is taking place earlier than usual this year under excellent weather conditions. These optimal conditions allow us to meet the ideal sowing window for spring barley, which extends until the end of March for all our growing regions.

Our experienced farmers use the specialist knowledge they have built up over the years to optimally prepare the soil for sowing. Their in-depth expertise in quality cultivation and the trusting cooperation with Weyermann® Malz create ideal conditions for first-class malting barley.

In our growing regions in Thuringia and Franconia, sowing is proceeding according to plan. The certified seed of first-class quality was provided in sufficient quantities in good time.

We wish all the farmers involved a successful sowing season and look forward to a high-yielding harvest in 2025!
