Weyermann® Running Team at the Bamberg World Heritage Run 2025

Three distances, one goal: The Bamberg World Heritage Run brings people together to take on athletic challenges and experience the unique atmosphere of the UNESCO World Heritage City. Team spirit and the joy of running are at the heart of the event, as the streets of Bamberg provide a backdrop for endurance, community, and sporting ambition.

This past Sunday, our Weyermann® Running Team participated with great enthusiasm in the Bamberg Weltkulturerbelauf – one of the most popular running events in southern Germany, combining the picturesque backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bamberg with athletic challenge.

Our runners started highly motivated and well-prepared in three competitions to proudly represent the Weyermann® colors:

  • Pflaum Logistik Run (4.4 km): 8 participants
  • Wieland Run (10.9 km): 12 participants
  • Sparkassen Run (21.1 km): 2 participants

Together, our team covered an impressive 208.2 kilometers – a fantastic achievement we are very proud of! A heartfelt thank you to all participants for their athletic commitment, perseverance, and team spirit. You are amazing! 🎉💪

Accompanied by radiant sunshine and a vibrant atmosphere along the course, the day became an unforgettable experience. Numerous spectators and music groups contributed to the motivation of our team.

After the athletic challenges, the team ended the day together at “Sternla” with cool drinks and delicious food. In great spirits, the experiences of the day were shared and celebrated.

We would also like to extend our thanks to our management for the wonderful Weyermann® running shirts and the enjoyable evening at “Sternla.”

We are already looking forward to the next Weltkulturerbelauf in two years and to starting together again!
