Grand Gold for Weyermann® Whisky at Spirits Selection
Great joy in the Weyermann® Distillery: At the renowned Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, we celebrated two outstanding achievements.
The Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is considered one of the most prestigious international competitions for spirits.
Since 1999, the best products from around the world have been honored here – from whisky and cognac to rum, gin, and tequila, as well as specialties like Baijiu or Pisco.
The jury consists of internationally recognized experts who evaluate in strict blind tastings.
A maximum of 35 samples are tasted per session to ensure the highest level of objectivity and quality.
The evaluation criteria include sensory excellence, craftsmanship, and innovative strength.
The event travels to a different country each year and has become a global benchmark for spirits.
In the current edition, more than 2,000 samples were assessed by over 120 jurors from more than 30 nations – a guarantee of diversity and professionalism.
The international panel tasted the submitted products in rigorous blind tests and evaluated sensory quality, artisanal precision, and innovation.

Weyermann® Special Eight
A composition of eight exquisite Weyermann® malts. It seduces with a bouquet of white grapes, ripe orchard fruit, and banana.
Delicate notes of nut praline, vanilla, and brittle harmoniously round off the taste experience.
Weyermann® Triple Cask Edition
This Single Malt Whisky matured in three casks – two ex-Bourbon casks and one ex-Islay cask.
On the nose, fruity notes such as ripe apricot delight, paired with orange and a hint of caramel.
On the palate, a full bouquet of cocoa, toffee, and vanilla unfolds, accompanied by a subtle nuance of wood. The mild finish is elevated by a gentle touch of honey.
These honors are a wonderful confirmation of our passion and pursuit of perfection.
