3rd Weyermann® Bamberger Hofbräu Maibock Tapping
With our 3rd Weyermann® Bamberger Hofbräu Maibock Tapping, we welcomed the month of May in a festive atmosphere on Thursday, April 30, 2026, on the Weyermann® Werk 3 premises – in the Hop Garden.
At the invitation of the Weyermann® Management, around 230 registered guests came together.
All Weyermann® employees and Weyermann® retirees, each with their spouses or life partners, were invited, along with new employees and selected long-standing Weyermann® companions.
The event was opened by our Managing Director Thomas Kraus-Weyermann and Weyermann® Brewmaster Constantin Förtner.
Following the warm welcome by Thomas Kraus-Weyermann and a brief introduction to the beer specialty, the call rang out: “O‘zapft is!”
With that, the 3rd Weyermann® Bamberger Hofbräu Maibock Tapping was officially opened.
In the glass, the Bamberger Hofbräu Maibock presented itself with a beautiful old-gold color and a white foam head.
In terms of taste, the beer specialty impressed with strong malt notes reminiscent of toffee, along with refreshing herbal notes from the hops.
Bamberger Hofbräu beers and non-alcoholic beers from the Weyermann® Braumanufaktur were served.
The team of the Weyermann® Braumanufaktur took care of the beer service.
Guests also enjoyed a fitting culinary selection: bratwurst and steaks from Partyservice Ludwig, tarte flambée from the Tarte Flambée food truck, and fine baked specialties from Weyermann® Craft Baker Friedrich Rauh offered a varied choice.
From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., many guests took the opportunity to join guided tours of Werk 3 and gain a look behind the scenes of the departments located there.
The tours included the areas of the Braumanufaktur, Baking Technical Center, IT, Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, History, and Marketing.
In this way, the guests gained a vivid impression of the daily work of the Weyermann® teams on the Werk 3 premises.
With good conversations, freshly tapped Maibock, further beer specialties, and culinary delights, the guests spent a pleasant afternoon and evening in the Weyermann® Hop Garden.
The relaxed atmosphere provided a fitting setting for a shared start into the month of May.
Our sincere thanks go especially to the entire organizing team, as well as to the Marketing, Braumanufaktur, Backmanufaktur, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, and IT departments, whose commitment contributed to the success of this wonderful event.
A heartfelt thank-you also goes to our Management for the invitation to this successful 3rd Weyermann® Bamberger Hofbräu Maibock Tapping!
