Historic Charm Meets Industrial Chic – Opening of the Weyermann® Brewers Lounge Canteen
Under radiant sunshine, Weyermann® employees gathered at the company’s historic premises to celebrate the grand opening of the new Weyermann® Brewers Lounge Canteen together.
Weyermann® Managing Director Sabine Weyermann warmly welcomed the guests and introduced the exciting “Weyermann® Brewers Lounge Canteen” project in a brief speech. As part of the extensive renovation work, the two historic vintage car garages were removed to create more space for the growing team. The new canteen now offers 60 seats and a spacious meeting room for up to 16 people. The kitchen, counter, and restroom facilities have also been completely renewed and now shine in new splendor. On the first floor, the library was expanded and cozy reading chairs were added for a relaxing break—all, of course, in the unmistakable Weyermann® corporate identity.
The realization of this project was a true team effort: In total, 15 different trades were involved, and at peak times, up to 20 craftsmen were working simultaneously to complete the project.
As a special highlight, before the shared lunch, Sabine Weyermann surprised the employees with a thoughtful gesture from the management: each employee will receive a personalized Weyermann® thermal mug—available in red or yellow—engraved with their name.
While enjoying delicious dishes from the pan and grill, employees spent their lunch break in the unique atmosphere of the new Brewers Lounge. Non-alcoholic beverages and Weyermann® beers, freshly served from the Weyermann® Land Rover, as well as tasty ice cream with various toppings, perfectly rounded off the culinary offerings.
Many thanks to our trusted catering partner, Partyservice Ludwig from Burgebrach, for the delicious food, and to the Weyermann® management for this wonderful afternoon together!
Special thanks also go to our boss, Thomas Kraus-Weyermann, who released the historic vintage car garages for the benefit of the project!
We would also like to thank all the construction companies involved and our dedicated project team led by Frank Lunkenbein, Weyermann® Head of Technical Project Management, for their professional support and the successful completion of this project!
