After twelve wonderful years, we now said goodbye to our devoted and loyal employee Aybike Soybaba, who starts her well-deserved retirement.
Since 2010, she has been an integral part of our red and yellow world!
As Weyermann® nanny, Aybike Soybaba has been looking after our employees’ offspring in our own in-house day care for the past 12 years.
Therewith she made it easier for our employees to concentrate on working in our specialty malting company and, with her commitment, made a wonderful contribution to the compatibility of family and career.
Aybike was a true blessing for Weyermann®. With her loving and affectionate personality, she conquered every child’s heart and won all of them over with her creative ideas and activities.
During her time in the red and yellow Weyermann® world, Aybike looked after a total of 15 children – including both the children of the day care as well as older children of our employees, who were allowed to join the day care during school holidays.
Aybike loved her job from the bottom of her heart – starting from her lovingly decorated workplace, the day care, which had been decorated by Sabine Weyermann herself.
“There are so many wonderful things to discover here”, says Aybike. She appreciated the family environment and all the nice colleagues, of whom many became friends, as well as the wonderful atmosphere of the landmarked company site very much.
On her last day, our Weyermann® mascot Malty surprised Aybike Soybaba in the day care and presented her a magnificent red and yellow bouquet of flowers, a photo album with wonderful memories of her time at Weyermann®, and a gift certificate for the Weyermann® shop Living & Drinking. This surprise was the highlight of her official last working day, and the children’s eyes lit up at the sight of the special guests.
we thank you for all the good things you’ve brought into our red and yellow world.
The whole Weyermann® team wishes you a peaceful retirement with lots of good books which delight your heart, exciting cultural highlights for you to enjoy – may it be theatre, ballet or opera, and wonderful bike tours which lead to the most exciting places, and many great hours with your family and friends.
We hope to see you soon!
