Award-winning spirits from Bamberg – The Weyermann® Distillery in Bamberg was honored at the BrennKunstAward Württemberg, hosted by the North Württemberg Distillers’ Association, with three special awards and 13 gold medals. These accolades confirm the exceptional quality of our spirits and recognize the continuous development of our distilling craftsmanship.
Our award-winning products are distinguished by their clear structure, balanced aromas, and precise craftsmanship. The jury acknowledged the sensory depth and diversity of our brandies, spirits, whiskies, and liqueurs – a strong testament to the innovative strength of our distillery.

A Look at the Award Ceremony
The ceremony took place at the Teckhalle in Owen. The North Württemberg Distillers’ Association organized the event with professional preparation and clear structure. More than 1,050 samples from Northern and Southern Württemberg were submitted. The jury evaluated the products in blind tastings, assessing aroma, flavor, and structure. A sensory seminar prepared the jurors for their task. The awards were presented personally by German Distillate Queen Anna Steinmann and Distillate Princess Denise Meyer.
The event honored the connection between proven expertise and contemporary innovation.
These awards are not only a confirmation of our technical work – they also reflect the creative energy that goes into each of our products.
