Double Gold at the Franconian Awards for the Weyermann® Distillery
Golden news from the Upper Franconian Weyermann® Distillery: At this year’s Franconian Awards, two of our distillates convinced the jury and were each awarded the highest gold rating.

These awards once again confirm our commitment to the highest quality and regionality. The Franconian Awards are organized by the Franconian Small and Fruit Distillers Association and have been honoring the best spirits specialties from Franconia for years.
The Awarded Specialties in Focus
The Weyermann® Special 8 Single Malt Whisky combines eight selected Weyermann® malts into a unique composition. Notes of white grapes, ripe fruits, and delicate vanilla merge with harmonious hints of nut and noble oak—rounded off by a complex barrel aging and a long-lasting finish.
Our Weyermann® Wahlsche Schnapsbirne is a barrel-aged pear brandy that delights with its fruity-aromatic character, gaining additional depth, elegance, and a mild woody note through exclusive aging in acacia casks. A true unique for fans of fine brandy culture.
