Crafting Gold: Weyermann® Braumanufaktur Shines with Five Medals at the World Beer Awards
While the best beers in the world were being honored by an international jury in London, we are delighted to celebrate Weyermann® Braumanufaktur in Bamberg for winning five medals at this year’s World Beer Awards. Two silver and three bronze medals once again confirm our high standards of quality, our creative craftsmanship, and our innovative strength as Bamberg brewers.
Bamberg Brewing Art with International Appeal
Our Weyermann® Nr. 100 Centennial Isaria 1924® was awarded a silver medal. This beer combines a malt-driven depth, intense amber color, and a smooth, nutty character—made possible by our traditional Isaria 1924® malt. Equally honored is our alcohol-free Weyermann® Nr. 74 IPAZero: Its fruity hop aromas of pine and citrus, paired with a pleasantly fresh bitterness, offer an easy-drinking experience.
For the first time, our Weyermann® Nr. 17 Eraclea Mediterranean Pilsner won an international bronze medal. Italian Eraclea barley gives this pilsner a unique floral note and elegant freshness. Already appreciated as a classic, our Weyermann® Nr. 79 Märzen impressed the jury with its red-gold shine, caramel nuances, and well-balanced malty body, also earning bronze. Another bronze went to our Weyermann® Nr. 77 Smoke on the Porter. This characterful Smoked Porter unites smoky notes with aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, and walnut for a full-bodied, harmonious flavor experience.
We are especially pleased about the first award for our Weyermann® Nr. 17 Eraclea Mediterranean Pilsner—a milestone that strikingly underscores our ongoing development.
