Weyermann® On Tour: Creative Collaboration Brew in Moldova

In mid-November, Fedor Nikolashkin, International Malting & Brewing Expert, and Constantin Förtner, Brewmaster of the Weyermann® Brewery, visited Keller Holz Private Brewery in Moldova as Weyermann® ambassadors. The highlight of the visit was a joint collaboration brew that combined a passion for high-quality raw materials with creative brewing artistry.

Together, they crafted a robust and aromatic Porter, enriched by the use of the traditional Weyermann® Heirloom Malt Isaria 1924®, which added exceptional depth of character. This historic malt variety brings a distinctive note to the beer and reflects Weyermann®’s philosophy of inspiring breweries worldwide with unique specialty malts.

The Keller Holz Private Brewery also celebrated a remarkable achievement: a Gold Medal at the European Beer Star for a beer brewed with 100% Weyermann® malt. This award honors the outstanding quality and close collaboration between Keller Holz and Weyermann®.
