BeerEx Africa 2025
Cape Town. The pearl at the southern tip of Africa. At this time, our Weyermann® International Malting & Brewing Expert Axel Jany is traveling to this vibrant port city.
There, he will represent Weyermann® Malt at BeerEx Africa, which will take place from May 22nd to 24th at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
The event, organized by Dematech Pty Ltd., our Weyermann® distribution partner for West, East, and Southern Africa, is the largest beer expo and conference on the African continent and aimed at home brewers as well as established craft beer breweries.
Founded in 2016 to promote the growing beer culture in South Africa and Africa in general, BeerEx Africa combines a professional conference, a two-day expo, numerous workshops, and networking events with Africa’s largest beer competition, the African Beer Cup.
Axel Jany will be on site with a red and yellow booth and give a technical lecture on “Flavour First – Lift your Lo/No with Specialty Malts”.
