Weyermann® RoggStar Release

Since November 11, 2025, it’s official: The ninth whisky from our Weyermann® Distillery has taken center stage. With the Weyermann® RoggStar, we present a Single Cask Rye Whisky that embodies everything a true rock star stands for – character, depth, and an unmistakable note.

This strictly limited specialty is crafted from 100% Weyermann® rye malt. For its composition, Weyermann® Rye Malt Pale is complemented by our signature Weyermann® CARARYE®. After distillation, the Weyermann® RoggStar matured for six years in American oak before being bottled as a Single Cask – Small Batch Edition. A total of 373 bottles of this exclusive edition are available. With an alcohol content of 44% vol., the Weyermann® RoggStar is a coveted highlight for lovers of premium whisky.

Its flavor profile impresses across the board: Fine cocoa notes, embedded in sweet malt aromas, accompanied by vanilla and the scent of freshly baked fruit bread. On the palate, it unfolds a harmonious interplay that lingers in a long-lasting finish – like the final chord of a rock classic.

The launch at the Weyermann® Shop Living & Drinking in Bamberg attracted numerous whisky enthusiasts. By mid-morning, the first customers had already secured their bottle of the Weyermann® RoggStar. In the evening, the show continued: Our whisky seminar with Weyermann® Master Distiller Philipp Schwarz was fully booked and offered participants an evening full of enjoyment and expertise – all dedicated to the Weyermann® RoggStar.
