Prague Beer Fest, Prague, Czech Republic

Recently, our Weyermann® International Malting & Brewing Expert Fedor Nikolashkin attended the Prague Beer Festival and had a fantastic time!

He reports: “The Prague Beer Fest took place on the historic grounds of the Holešovice Market. The sunny spring weather created a wonderful atmosphere and attracted numerous visitors from all over the world.

Around 50 breweries from across the globe served a wide variety of beer styles. I was able to enjoy excellent beers from the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, the USA, and Spain, and exchanged ideas with brewers from these countries about the latest trends in beer. I was particularly impressed by the diversity of sour beers, IPAs, and classic Czech lagers.

The organization of the festival was outstanding—from the thoughtful selection of beers at the stands to the varied street food offerings, everything was very well planned. The atmosphere was relaxed yet very international – a real highlight for beer enthusiasts!

Overall, it was an inspiring event with many wonderful impressions and valuable new contacts.”
