2nd Weyermann® Maibock Tapping

With our 2nd Weyermann® Maibock Tapping, we celebrated the onset of May on Tuesday afternoon accompanied by lots of sunshine, happy vibes and a delightful bock beer.

For this wonderful event, invited by the Weyermann® management, Weyermann® employees along with their spouses/partners, Weyermann® companions and shareholders, as well as Weyermann® retirees and future employees gathered at the copany premises “Werk 3” – Memmelsdorfer Strasse / Brennerstrasse.

After a warm welcome by Weyermann® General Operations Manager Jürgen Buhrmann and a brief presentation of the Maibock recipe by our Weyermann® Brewmaster Constantin Förtner, the happy tapping began.

In the glass, the Maibock presents itself with a beautiful, old golden color and a white head. The taste experience of this magnificent creation begins with robust malt notes reminiscent of toffee and transitions to refreshing herbal notes of hops.

All attendees enjoyed the drinkable brewing specialty with suitable culinary delights such as steaks, bratwurst, tarte flambée, and pastries.

Until late into the evening, the guests celebrated together clearly enjoying the diverse activities offered through the accompanying program. There were many exciting table top soccer duels, countless rounds of ping pong, and lively games of corn hole.

The opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the departments located on the company premises „Werk 3“ was once again well received this year. Similarly, the offer to bake own pretzels at the Weyermann® Craft Bakery under the guidance of our Craft Baker Friedrich Rauh was popular.

We thank our efficient and creative organization team for this wonderful afternoon and evening!
