Weyermann® Raw Material News: Successful Barley Harvest 2025 in Clingen

We are delighted to look back on a successful harvest weekend in Clingen. Together with our long-standing partners, our teams carefully prepared for this year’s malting barley harvest and completed it successfully.

Preparations:
Sufficient intake capacities were created for the harvest. The silos were thoroughly cleaned and prepared in accordance with the strict hygiene requirements for storing malting barley. This ensures that the quality of our raw materials is guaranteed from the very beginning.

Convincing results:
The harvested malting barley shows an above-average high plumpness – from field over 90% grading. Protein levels range between 10.5% and 10.9%, providing ideal conditions for producing high-quality Weyermann® malts.

Weyermann® Barke® – A historic variety that captivates:
We are particularly pleased with the quality of the malting barley Barke®. AG Prießnitz cultivated and harvested this heirloom variety with great passion. The analysis results confirm its excellent quality – a valuable raw material for outstanding malt compositions from Weyermann® in Clingen.

Partnership with AG Prießnitz – Reliability that proves itself:
