Weyermann® on Tour: Veronique Neldner at the Saint Malo Craft Beer Expo 2026

This year, Veronique Neldner represented Weyermann® as our ambassador at the Saint Malo Craft Beer Expo, where she presented our range of specialty malts at her dedicated exhibition stand.

The event took place from March 20 to 22, 2026 at the “Le Quai” exhibition venue in Saint Malo and brought together trade visitors, retailers, and beer enthusiasts from across France.

Friday was traditionally reserved for industry professionals. Many bar owners, beverage retailers, and members of the gastronomy sector took the opportunity to learn about current developments and engage directly with the exhibiting breweries. In the early evening, the expo opened its doors to the general public, offering visitors their first sensory impressions.

On Saturday and Sunday, guests enjoyed a varied programme featuring tastings, workshops, and open exchange formats.

A special highlight was the Amateur Brewing Competition 2026, featuring entries in the categories Schwarzbier, Weissbier, and “French Pale Ale”. The beers were evaluated by a qualified jury, and participants received detailed feedback to support their personal brewing journey.

Throughout the entire expo, Veronique Neldner engaged in numerous conversations about raw material quality, sensory profiles, and the diverse applications of Weyermann® Specialty Malts in modern beer styles.

Our Weyermann® stand quickly became a popular meeting point for brewers and retailers eager to learn more about the diversity of Weyermann® Specialty Malts.
