Weyermann® Brewing Barley Produce Award – Harvest 2025

Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the five best farmers from the catchment area of our Weyermann® grain collection site in Leesau to our headquarters in Bamberg. In a festive setting, we presented them with the Weyermann® Brewing Barley Produce Award for the 2025 harvest.

Since 2012, this award has recognized regional farmers who have accompanied us for many years with high quality and reliable delivery performance. With their expertise, they make a significant contribution to our success. After all, quality begins in the field.

The management team in the 4th and 5th generation personally presented the awards to the following winners:

Edwin Schwarz, Thurnau
Reinhard Löhrlein, Stadelhofen
Regina Eichenseer, Velburg
Thomas Singer, Neumark

In recognition of many years of trustworthy collaboration and consistently excellent quality, we honored the winners with a handcrafted plate from the traditional pottery Schnauder & Sanke, a personalized Weyermann® polo shirt, and a copy of the Weyermann® History signed by Sabine Weyermann.

During the technical program, the award recipients enjoyed an extensive guided tour of our malting facilities. Harmoniously paired specialty beers from the Weyermann® Brewery and Distillery, together with a three-course festive menu, rounded off the convivial evening.

We extend our sincere thanks to all award recipients, as well as to all other regional farmers, for their commitment and their valuable contribution to our red and yellow quality standards, from the field to the finished malt.
