Weyermann® Brewing Barley Produce Award 2025 in Clingen!

This past Tuesday, we had the pleasure of honoring three producer farms in Clingen who impress with regional commitment, reliability, and outstanding malting barley quality.

Our location in the heart of the Thuringian Basin offers ideal conditions for malting barley cultivation. Thanks to the large, professionally managed farms in the region, we achieve exceptionally consistent and homogeneous quality here.

The day began in the morning with an insightful guided tour of the malthouse, during which our plant manager, Jens Hell, vividly explained the processing steps. Afterwards, Franziska Weyermann, representing the management team, presented the awards and emphasized the strong and trusting cooperation with our regional partners.

Culinary enjoyment was, of course, part of the program:
During the shared lunch, guests enjoyed a delicious three‑course menu, accompanied by perfectly paired beer specialties from the Weyermann® Brewery. A delightful finale to a thoroughly successful morning.

As a special token of appreciation, all winners received a handcrafted plate from the traditional pottery Schnauder & Sanke, a personalized embroidered polo shirt, and a copy of the Weyermann® History signed by Sabine Weyermann.
