Successful Brewing Seminar with Indian Brewmasters & Brewers at Weyermann®

In december, we had the pleasure of welcoming a dedicated group of Indian brewmasters and brewers to Bamberg, together with our trusted distribution partners from OM Distributors.

During a multi-day seminar, our guests immersed themselves in the world of Weyermann® Specialty Malts – hands-on, inspiring, and full of memorable experiences. The program perfectly combined theory and practice and featured the following highlights:

• Brewing Practice: In our Weyermann® Craft Brewery, participants brewed beers that showcased the diversity of our specialty malts – from milling and mashing to lautering and wort boiling.

• Baking Workshop: Guests baked pretzels and explored the use of malt flours and extracts in baking.

• Malthouse Insights: A guided tour through our specialty malt production revealed everything about malt creation and refinement.

• Expert Knowledge: Our team shared insights on Terroir and Heirloom malts, yeast management, filtration, quality analysis, and other brewing topics.

• Logistics & Supply Chain: A visit to our modern logistics and loading center demonstrated how we ensure smooth global operations.

• Sensory Experience: Professional tastings allowed guests to discover the full spectrum of our malts and beers – from smoky classics to lagers, IPAs, and low- or no-alcohol styles.

Evenings in Bamberg provided opportunities for open exchange, Franconian hospitality, and building new bridges of friendship.
