Weyermann® Inside News: Philipp Schwarz receives “Young Distiller Of The Year“ award

Philipp Schwarz (m.), team leader Weyermann® distillery, was awarded with the “Young Distiller Of The Year” award at the Craft Spirits Awards 2019.
Congratulations to this well-deserved award.
Philipp is author of distillery books and specialist articles in journals. As a lecturer at the VLB Berlin, he teaches future master distillers in the field of distillery technology.
As an examiner for spirits, Philipp Schwarz is also involved in the annual quality checks for spirits, conducted from the German Agricultural Society, as well as in the awarding of several distillery associations.
The Craft Spirits Awards is a competition specialized on artisanal spirits and takes place during the Craft Spirits Festival DESTILLE BERLIN.
The two-day trade fair brings the producers together with restaurateurs, specialist retailers and buyers in the hotel industry. At the same time, it is the place where distilleries and spirit manufactures present their products to an interested audience and offer it for sale.
