Weyermann® Representative UK John S. Middleton visits cutsomter in Leeds

Recently John Middleton, our Weyermann® Representative UK, visited our Weyermann® customer, the Leeds Brewery, and sent us this photo from his visit.
He is pictured together with brewer Rob Warriner (l.) in front of
the new mash tun of their new 50hl brewery plant.
In 2007 Sam Moss and Michael Brothwell opened the Leeds Brewery as the only independent brewery in the city.
Initially the brewery produced only three cask ales, including what would become our flagship beer Leeds Pale, supplemented by occasional seasonal brews throughout the year.
Today the brewery produces over 70,000 pints a week with a beer range which encompasses a vast array of styles and flavours - brewed of course with the malts of the world market leader for specialty malts. They are huge fans of our Weyermann® Carafa® Special and Weyermann® Beech Smoked Barley Malt.
In 2008 Leeds Brewery opened its first pub; The Midnight Bell. Since then the brewery has opened another five sites.
We are pleased that our malts may be the soul of the Leeds Brewery’s beers and wish them always „happy brewing” with Weyermann® Malts!
