Barcelona Beer Festival 2017 - with Weyermann® Malts

Last weekend the Barcelona Beer Festival took place and of course Weyermann® Malts was there. Our ambassadors on-site were Weyermann® Malts & Craft Beer Ambassador Gregor Alic, Weyermann® Key Account Manager Food Ingredients Xavier Galobart and the team of Ricardo Molina S.A.U., our Weyermann® distribution partner for Spain & Portugal.
The Barcelona Beer Festival, which took place for the sixth time this year, aims to showcase beer culture and introduce the qualities of artisan craft beer to the general public. Thus the visitors could attend lectures & presentations, join technical sessions and taste of over 450 different beers.
During the festival the winners of the Barcelona Beer Challenge were announced. Lucky winners include many Weyermann® customers, such as Birrificio Artigianale Horo, Birrificio Mediterrnaeo, Rocca dei Conti and PBH Palabrauhaus from Italy. Congratulations to all winners! May our malts continue to contribute to our customer’s success at beer competitions all around the world.
