Weyermann® Malts conquer Indian bakery!

End of 2015 Weyermann® Malts entered the Indian food sector for the first time, when our loyal Weyermann® customer, the pub brewery and restaurant “District 6” in Bangalore, India, brought food, prepared with Weyermann® Malts, onto their menu. Since then you find malt-based pizza, malt-based bread, baked with the Weyermann® Malt baking mixtures and malt-based tiramisu. Highly praised by the guests, the “District 6” with its malt-based food and of course its craft beers, brewed with Weyermann® malts, is talk of the town.
The bakery Mamma Mia! Of the Mayfair Lagoon Resorts in Bhubaneswar, India, was able to build on the success. There, head pastry chef Laxminarayan Sahu processes the specialty malts of the world market leader regarding specialty malts in bread and muffins. The malt-based products are very well-received here, too. We are pleased, that our malts may contribute to creative and extraordinary products like there and with the bakers and brewers continued inspiration and creativity at work with the specialty malts from Weyermann® Malts.
