End of November the Swakopmund Brewing Company in Namibia has opened. It is part of Namibia Breweries Limited and is located in the Brewer & Butcher restaurant in Swakopmund beach hotel.
Managing Director of Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) Wessie van der Westhuizen promised the usual NBL quality and world-class beers at the opening of Swakopmund Brewery - of course brewed with Weyermann® Malts!
For NBL it was a labor of love to give the city something back with the Swakopmund Brewing Company, for which the NBL has already often acted as a sponsor. Brew master of Swakopmund Brewing Company is Stefan Koepp.
In his brewery he works completely handcrafted and according to the German Purity Law of 1516, as he emphasizes. The beers in the taproom ranging from wheat beer to a Maerzen to a Red Summer Ale - certainly exceptional specialties in Namibia! And those who prefer to have it without alcohol, can feast on the fassbrause with different flavors.
