Weyermann® on tour: Craft Brewers Powwow 2019

Thanks go to Axel Jany, our Weyermann® customer consultant international, for representing the world market leader for specialty malts at the Craft Brewers Powwow in Cape Town, South Africa.
The Craft Brewers Powwow, which was sponsored by Weyermann® Malts, was organized by Dematech Pty Ltd., our Weyermann® distribution partner for Africa (West-, East – and Southern Africa) and addressed home brewers as well as larger commercial craft breweries.
The conference at the Powwow included presentations from local and international speakers, educational workshops, brewery tours, delicious food and good fun.
The exhibition tent at the Powwow gave suppliers to the craft beer industry the opportunity to showcase their products, whilst attendees discovered the latest trends in beer technology, packaging, logistics and more.
The event also featured two competitions - one for craft brewers and one for home brewers.
