Welcome to the Weyermann® team, Alirio Caldera!

As of July 1st 2018, Alirio Caldera will join the Weyermann® team as customer consultant.
In his home country Venezuela he completed his studies as graduate chemical engineer in 2008.
Afterwards he gained first industry experience in Germany and Venezuela, among others at Weyermann® Malts.
In 2011, Mr. Caldera began his master’s degree studies at the Technical University of Munich in the field of brewing and beverage technology and successfully completed it at the end of 2013.
After three years as a brewing specialist and manager of the fermentation and filter cellar at Empresas Polar C.A. in Venezuela, he decided to come back to Germany in 2017.
Since then he has worked as project manager in the development department at Krones AG
Alirio Caldera, who is good at languages, always kept the good impressions in mind, which he collected at Weyermann® Malts during his internship.
He is impressed with the philosophy and culture of Weyermann® and is looking forward to making his contribution.
In his free time, the certified beer sommelier spends his time with his family. He is moreover a passionate hobby photographer.
