Weyermann® sponsors guided tour and beer on world heritage day in Bamberg

In 2018, Bamberg´s inscription as UNESCO world heritage marks its 25th anniversary. On the occasion of the anniversary year, the Zentrum Welterbe Bamberg (Center World Heritage Bamberg) teamed up with local parties and put together a diverse program to bring the heritage of mankind closer to locals and guests. The program includes tours through the museums of Bamberg, exhibitions, lectures and much more.
In cooperation with the educational association AGIL, the Center World Heritage Bamberg has designed 25 city tours that start at different points and address various aspects of the world heritage city. All guided tours recently took place on UNESCO World Heritage Day.
As a 139-year-old traditional company, which is deeply rooted in the world heritage city of Bamberg, we were happy to sponsor the "Hops & Malts" tour.
"Beer city Bamberg! Where do the ingredients come from? What role do they play in international trade? "These questions and many more were answered during the tour.
At the end of the day, there was be a pleasant get-together with a Franconian buffet, beers from Bamberg - among others our Weyermann® Schlotfegerla® - as well as music for dancing, listening and singing along for the participants of all tours.
