9th Weyermann® Bock Beer Tapping heralds in Christmas season
Last Thursday Weyermann® Malts revived its nice tradition of its own book beer tapping for the ninth time. The atmospheric event from the Weyermann® management is intended as a thank you to all Weyermann® employees, external partners, and suppliers.
Outstanding Weyermann® Willy Wonka Bock, fresh Lower Bavarian bread specialties from the oven, ham from Italy and roasted chestnuts – it was a night to enjoy many delicacies in a wonderful setting. In the glow of the fire baskets 85 external Weyermann® companions, 160 employees and their partners as well as 48 suppliers exchanged lively.
Traditionally Sabine Weyermann and Thomas Kraus-Weyermann, Weyermann® management fourth generation, always invite to this atmospheric event on the last Thursday of November on the listed Weyermann® company premises.
This year, the tasteful double bock - brewed with Weyermann® Munich Malt, Weyermann® Pilsner Malt and Weyermann® Carared® - comes with 18% original wort and 7.3 vol. % alcohol. This pure strong beer specialty appears in a full red and mahogany brown color with a long with standing head that is reminiscent of the cream on top of a cappuccino.
Its aroma can be compared to a basket of tropical fruit, with hints of peach and melon. But one can also smell shades of apple, orange, pineapple and banana. With the first sip the syrupy-wet liquid tastes sweet, much like honey or liquor. The Wily Wonka bock is available at our Weyermann® Craft Beer Fan Shop for all beer lovers with immediate effect!
With the quote of Schiller "Let the foam shoot up in spaces: To the goodly soul this glass!“, Weyermann® brew master Dominik Maldoner tapped the first barrel of the Willy Wonka bock and handed out the reddish beer, which perfectly matches the red brick buidlings of Weyermann® Malts. Strengthened, the "Weyermen" now can start the last weeks of the year full of strength, joy and commitment.
The donations of the evening go to the international Weyermann® godchildren of World Vision. Thanks go to the Weyermann® preparation team of the evening, which set a highlight after many Weyermann® events in the annual calendar.
