Weyermann® Employee Party 2017
On Friday evening 190 employees from 14 nations celebrated their employee party at the invitation of Sabine Weyermann and Thomas Kraus-Weyermann, Weyermann® management fourth generation - for the first time in the ballroom the of the Welcome Hotel Bamberg.
Sabine Weyermann opened her speech with a welcome greeting to Evelaine Viviurka from our Brazilian distribution partner Agraria and to our 31 new employees of the year 2016. Traditionally, she then gave an overview of the past Weyermann® year with all its highlights and presented the projects of the new year. She expressed her gratitude to all the employees who contribute to the Weyermann® success story with great commitment and dedication.
Klaus Bayer, Weyermann® Chairman of the Works Council, also expressed his greatest appreciation and thanked the management and plant manager Jürgen Buhrmann for the good cooperation and the many assets for the Weyermann® employees. He also reviewed the highlights of the past year and proudly counted the many investments, as e.g. the new roasting drum or the new silos for the malthouse.
Sabine Weyermann also honored the jubilees of last year during the employee party. And thus she first of all thanked her husband and our boss Thomas Kraus-Weyermann, who has been managing the fate of the family business for 25 years together with her.

Sabine Weyermann also uses the employee party to honor Lothar Knöchel, Accounting Manager, on the occasion of his in well-earned retirement - after 28 years in and for the Weyermann® world. Luckily, he remains part of our family and will support us in an advisory role.
We still say thank you, Lothar, for your commitment, your dedication, your reliability and your loyalty. You did an awesome great job!
In addition to honoring the jubilees, the performance of the new employees represented another highlight of the evening, illustrating the malting process as a musical.
The harmonious evening with good food and beers from the Weyermann® brewmanufacture as well as a photobox for fun pictures made it an unforgettable Weyermann® event as we know and love it.
