Axel Jany at Brews & Spirits Expo 2026 in Bengaluru

In September, Axel Jany, Weyermann® International Malting & Brewing Expert, traveled to India as a Weyermann® ambassador to represent the company at the Brews & Spirits Expo 2026 in Bengaluru.

The seventh edition of the international trade fair and conference took place from September 9 to 11, 2026, at the KTPO Convention Centre in Whitefield, Bengaluru. The event brought together numerous experts and industry partners from the brewing, wine, and spirits sectors.

Weyermann® exhibited alongside our valued distribution partner OM Brewtech. Throughout the event, Axel Jany engaged in a wide range of conversations with brewers, distillers, customers, and other professionals from the international beverage industry.

The discussions focused on raw material quality, malt selection, sensory characteristics, and the diverse applications of Weyermann® Specialty Malts. At the same time, the exchange provided valuable insights into current developments and market requirements within the Indian beverage industry.

Brews & Spirits Expo 2026 covered the entire value chain of beer, wine, and spirits production. In addition to raw materials and beverage technology, the exhibition featured production equipment, packaging solutions, and professional services. The accompanying conference program offered further opportunities for technical exchange and industry dialogue.

The joint exhibition stand with OM Brewtech provided an excellent setting to strengthen existing business relationships, establish new contacts, and discuss individual technical topics directly with industry professionals. The shared presence also highlighted the importance of the trusted partnership between Weyermann® and OM Brewtech in the Indian market.
