Apprenticeship Start 2026

Today, we welcome five new apprentices on their first day of training at Weyermann® Malt. With this, an exciting new chapter begins for them in the red and yellow world.

The day started together at the Weyermann® Visitors Center. After a warm welcome, our new young professionals received important information about company procedures, including time recording and the preparation of weekly reports.

During a comprehensive tour of the Weyermann® world, the new apprentices gained their first insights into our family-owned company. They became familiar with various departments and met the people behind the many different processes throughout the business.

Afterwards, the focus was on personal exchange with experienced Weyermann® apprentices. During a joint introduction round, the new and experienced apprentices had the opportunity to get to know each other and make their first connections within the Weyermann® family. Their buddies also accompanied the new apprentices throughout this special day.

Following the group photos to capture the occasion, the apprentices enjoyed lunch together with the Weyermann® trainers at the Visitors Center. The shared time provided an opportunity for further conversations and open exchange.

In the afternoon, the five apprentices received their initial safety training. Afterwards, they were introduced to their respective departments, areas of responsibility, and trainers. This gave them a first overview of their future tasks and everyday apprenticeship life at Weyermann® Malt.

Our new apprentices are training as Industrial Clerks, Food Technology Specialists, Warehouse Logistics Specialists, and Distillers. They will be based at our Bamberg and Haßfurt locations.
