New construction opening party of Lindenmeyer GmbH & Co. KG, Öhringen

Ulrich Ferstl (l.), Weyermann® team leader direct customers and food, and Stefan Hönig (r.), Weyermann® production manager of the Heinz Weyermann® roasted malt beer brewery, recently attended the opening party of the new production building and vinegar brewery of Lindenmayer GmbH & Co. KG in Öhringen.

Ulrich Ferstl reports:

“Dr. Friedrich Mertz (middle, anaging director) has realised a beautiful and representative building; he succeeded to combine modern technique and the long tradition of vinegar products in perfect harmony.

Furthermore, the new production rooms, which are up-to-date to current food hygiene standards and a spacious warehouse are convincing as well and clarify the look into the future.

Our malt extracts and flours are now in good hands of our trading partner and direct customer, Dr. Mertz and his team.

Besides single-origin fruit vinegars, the first malt vinegar is being fermented there. For this product line, an own separate fermentation tank had been built, in which the conversion to vinegar will take place.”

Dr. Mertz was very happy to welcome the two Weyermann® ambassadors and thanked them for the generous donation from Weyermann®. With this donation, an active seesaw for children in need will be built by the Kiwani Club Möckmühl. Kiwani is an international organisation of volunteers who are actively campaigning for the welfare of children and the community.

A big thank you to Dr. Mertz for the invitation to this wonderful opening party and cheers to many more years of great cooperation to come!
