Open doors for the brewing barley suppliers at the Weyermann® production facility Clingen
Weyermann® malt builds on good partnerships in the region

Sabine Weyermann, Thomas Kraus-Weyermann, presidents in 4th generation, and Aishagul Schleicher, dipl. agricultural engineer and grain purchase manager, welcomed 34 regional suppliers at the Weyermann® Visitors Center in Bamberg in mid-February.

Weyermann® benefits of long-term partnerships with regional agricultural vendors and companies, producer and marketing companies and distributors, which often last decades or generations. This is how it should be for the new production facility in Clingen, too.

"High-quality raw materials from the region have a very large share of our international success. Therefore we would like to build on the good cooperation with our suppliers directly. During talks and gladly also with a freshly tapped beer, "explained Thomas Kraus-Weyermann.

The guests experienced Weyermann® Specialty Malts on a tour as an innovative, medium-sized family company in the malt industry with regional roots and a long tradition. After the lectures about the history, the development and the conditions of purchase and quality, there was time to exchange views.

The Barke® beers and the Weyermann® Schlotfegerla at lunch gave the new partners an experience of the variety of armonas, color and flavor that make up a Craft Beer brewed with Weyermann® specialty malts. This taste is the excellent result of successful cooperation.
