Weyermann® Inside News: Welcome to the team, Gustavo Stentzler

As of May 1st 2019, Gustavo Stentzler joins our Weyermann® team in Bamberg as an employee in the laboratory.

The native of Brazil began his academic career with chemistry studies at the Universiade Federal do Paraná in Curitiba.

After earning his degree, he worked as a sales representative, laboratory technician and was even self-employed as a brewer. Building on his bachelor´s degree, he eventually completed his chemistry master studies in 2016 at the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

Afterwards his path led him to Berlin, where he expanded his knowledge at the Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei (Research and Teaching Institute for Brewing) and learned German.

Since March of last year he worked as a food chemistry laboratory assistant at the company A. Dohrn and A. Timm GmbH & Co. KG near Berlin.

In addition to speaking his mother tongue Portuguese, Mr. Stentzler is also fluent in English, German and Spanish.

His hobbies include hiking, reading, traveling and cooking.
