Weyermann® Academy: Visit to the alpaca farm Lipka

“What is actually an alpaca?” or “Do they spit?”
These and many other questions were answered by Mr Lipka, when a group of Weyermann® employees came for a guided tour at the Lipka family’s alpaca farm in Eltmann/Weisbrunn.
They experienced these incredible and impressive animals of South America within a guided tour round the pasture.
Weyermann® employee Julia Knörrlein was one of the participants and says:
“For me it was a great opportunity to spend some time with colleagues from other departments. Within a private atmosphere we were able to have some great conversations. Also the weather was just great.
We have gained a proper insight into the production of alpaca wool and we also got a lot of information about the animal’s nature itself. Especially because of their relaxing effect it was a lot of fun to spend time with them.”
After the tour at the alpaca farm the Weyermann® employees came together in the brewpub „Schwarzer Adler Bräu“ in Stettfeld where they enjoyed a joint dinner and let the evening come to a pleasant end.
