Ukrainian partners brewed dark caramel wheat

Last week began with a creative collaboration brew with brewmaster Tatiana Yevtiukhina and customer consultant Sergej Nazarenko from Unitec our distribution partner in the Ukraine. In the Weyermann® brewing manufacture Larissa Diesendorf, coordinating export and assistant key account, brewmaster Dominik Maldoner and Victor Kunz, our brewer and maltster, had prepared everything, for a "dark caramel wheat" brew according to a recipe of Tatiana Yevtiukhina.
Tatiana chose an exquisite Weyermann® malt combination, which appeals to the senses and provides for a special taste sensation. The basis consisting of the Weyermann® specialty malts pale ale malt and pale wheat malt was supplemented with Weyermann® Carabelge®, Weyermann® Caraaroma®, Weyermann® chocolate wheat, Weyermann® Melanoidin for the dark color and aroma fabric. Plus the Weyermann® acid malt, which influences the pH in the mash and wort positivly. The weekend guests and longtime partners already had the opportunity to discover the beer city of Bamberg and went on to see the Weyermann® production site in Haßfurt.
Get to know each other and to exchange ideas developed both a successful partnership and an also an exceptional craftbeer. The whole Weyermann® team looks forward to taste it. Happy brewing!
