We have some awesome news to share! The book „Dark Lagers – History, Mystery, Brewing Techniques, Recipes“ from our boss Thomas Kraus-Weyermann and Horst Dornbusch, renowned consultant and author in terms of beer, received a silver award at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2019 in the category „beer“.
With this award „Dark Lagers - History, Mystery, Brewing Techniques, Recipes“ is the second best beer book in the world!
Congratulations to our boss Thomas Kraus-Weyermann and Horst Dornbusch for this well-deserved success!
Already last year the book, which highlights one of the world´s oldest and often misunderstood beer styles, won the 2018 Gourmand International Award for best book about beer published in the United States.
The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards were founded in 1995 by Edouard Cointreau. Every year, they honour the best food and wine books, printed or digital, as well as food television. The competition is free, and open to every country, publisher or author, regardless of power or influence.
