Weyermann® on tour: Great American Beer Festival 2017

It’s time again: the biggest selection of US American beers, will be presented during the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) in Denver, Colorado, in the next few days. Weyermann® brewmaster and master distiller Denise Jones ( r.) will be our ambassador on-site!
This year, the hip event takes place from October 5.-7. 2017 and expects more than 800 breweries, more than 3800 beers and 60,000 visitors! The visitors are offered a comprehensive program: lectures of renowned figures from the beer industry, beer and food pairing, tasting of beers of more than 70 exhibitors and much more.
Highlight is always the beer specialty competition, in which 98 beer styles with various subcategories are assessed from beer judges, among whom Denise Jones will repeatedly be. Only extremely competent and highly respected representatives of the beer industry get the honor of being a beer judge at the competition. For Denise Jones, who has over 20 years of experience in the brewing industry, it is once more a great honor to act as beer judge and put her expertise to the test Also Andreas Richter, Weyermann® quality manager /quality assurance manager, has been invited as a beer judge for more than ten times.
