Weyermann® Malts passes spot audit in Haßfurt

On Friday Torsten Engelhardt from the SGS-ICS conducted a so-called spot audit (unannounced audit) in accordance with the QA feed standard at our plant in Haßfurt. This audit is announced up to three days max. prior to the conduct and is mandatory. We have completed the audit successfully and Torsten Engelhardt was very impressed by the newly built bagging hall, the new silos and renovated steeping house.
Thanks to all staff involved in Haßfurt, especially maltster Dietmar Werner and Roland Schuler, head maintenance electrician Haßfurt, for their participation and of course Andreas Richter, head of quality assurance and management, who played a leading role, and Andrea Hahn, QMR representative quality management, for conducting the audit! The Weyermann® management and all Weyermann® employees warmly congratulate to this further great evidence of our high quality standards, which we always observe and maintain!
Later this year Torsten Engelhardt will visit us during the regular QA- audits and recertification audit according to ISO 9001. In total Weyermann® Malts can show 27 different certificates, whose validity always needs to be extended by new audits. Thus all customers can always be sure to be supplied with best quality goods from the world market leader regarding specialty malts!
