On Friday, April 8th, Andreas Richter, Weyermann® head of quality management and assurance takes off to Harbin, China, where he will take part at the “BHBT 6th craft brewery seminar” the following day.
The Barth-Haas Trade Co., Ltd., Weyermann® distribution partner for china, is host of the seminar, which Andreas Richter visits for the sixth time already. Barth Haas is the worldwide biggest supplier and service provider when it comes to hops. Their motto is: “every customer shall receive the best possible service and the best products at any time”. A guiding principle which perfectly suits the philosophy of Weyermann® Malts.
As part of the seminar, Andreas Richter will give a lecture on Weyermann® Malts where he will explain both the historical aspects of the company as well as the high quality demands at Weyermann® Malts and the benefits of using the quality malts. Following the seminar our Weyermann® representative awaits customer visits – including Yanjing Beer (Guilin Liquan) Co., Ltd., Fujian Yanjing Huiquan Brewery Co., Ltd. and the Tsingtao brewery. The Tsingtao brewery is the second largest brewery of China, whose connection to the Bamberg family company goes back to the year 1906. Because both traditional companies attended the brew fair in Nuremberg, as Weyermann® historian Christian Kestel could confirm after research in the comprehensive Weyermann® archives.
