New working students at Weyermann® Malts!

The number of Weyermann® working students is currently at a record high.
Since March 1st 2016 and until May 31st, 2016 Leonhard Habermann is a member of our team in order to write his thesis for his bachelor´s degree in beverage technology at the University of Geisenheim. The topic is the development of recipes for the production of whiskey from Weyermann® malt extracts. His activities will therefore lie in the pilot brewery and the Weyermann® distillery. In 2009, Leonhard Habermann completed his first internship in the red and yellow Weyermann® world. The time was very instructive for the young man and the enthusiasm brought him back to us in 2011 for a second internship. (cover pciture)

From April 1st 2016 until July 31st 2016 we welcome Sebastian Fork, who studies food management at the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Science. These studies aroused his enthusiasm for the product development. The 25 year old is currently completing his seventh and thus his last semester with a focus on plant products. At Weyermann® Malts Sebastian Fork will write his bachelor’s thesis. He will work in our quality management and quality assurance department and help with the implementation of the HACCP system (hazard analysis and critical control points) as preventive tool in the Weyermann® distillery.

The number of Weyermann® working students is currently at a record high. From August 1st 2016 to January 31st 2016 Carmen Haag will be working at the Weyermann® quality management and quality assurance department. She has been studying “Nutrition and Food Chain Management” at the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Science since October 2014. At the world market leader regarding specialty malts she will learn all process steps of the quality management and be involved in the implementation of measures from audits carried out. Dennis Tremmel, 28 years old, is one of them. He comes from Bamberg and studies elementary school education. The enthusiastic hobby brewer is delighted that he can complement our team as a tapper or waiter at events as a working student at Weyermann® Malt. Thus he could already successfully contribute to the success of the 8th Weyermann® Bock beer tapping. Welcome to the team! (gallery picture 2)
