Weyermann® Go for Gold: European Beer Star 2019

Since 2004, the European Beer Star has been organized by private breweries and has long since developed into one of the most important beer competitions in the world - and it will enter the next round on 10th of October!
The jury consists of an independent committee of well-known and experienced beer experts from all over the world. In a blind tasting, the experts determine the best three beers in 67 categories.
Part of this outstanding jury this year is also Constantin Förtner, master brewer of our Weyermann® brewery, who was invited as beer judge because of his expertise and his international reputation in the beer industry.
At the European Beer Star, genuine beers full of character and high quality are honoured. There beer styles that have their origin in Europe will be considered.
All breweries worldwide can participate: local, regional, supraregional and internationally active breweries, not only from Europe, but from all countries of all continents. All those who feel committed to the traditional, European brewing method.
The winners of the European Beer Star and the Consumers´ Favorite will be announced at a festive ceremony at the Brau Beviale in Nuremberg. All award-winning beers will be presented to an audience of professionals and journalists at the “Night of the Winners”.
