Hop Seminar at Weyermann® by Charles Faram Hops

Dr. Rudi, Riwaka, Magnum – no, these are not celebrities, these are the names for certain types of hops, so are Aurora, Pacific Gem or Millennium. In a hop seminar held by the company Charles Faram & Co. Ltd (UK) the Weyermann® management Sabine Weyermann and Thomas Kraus-Weyermann together with a group of Weyermann employees were trained on the different tastes and types of hops.
Weyermann® was happy to receive this training, held by Charles Faram management Paul Corbett and sales manager William Rogers and to be updated on the latest developments around the world of hops. During an intense one day training the participants received detailed background information and did so called “hop-tastings”. Raisins, honey, pepper, lychee, grapefruit and apricot – these are some of the tasting results. In the future the participants will not only be able to verify the soul of the beer – malt – but also the spices of the beer – hops -.
