Wonderfully clean,yet aromatic malts that can't be beat. Vienna as a base malt for pale ales has greatly improved our lineup. Melanoidin gives a great experiment for any red/amber beers. Do try Light Munich in conjunction with Vienna for great malt profile. Just a suggestion but the best I've ever used after being "raised" on UK.

Mit der Stuttgarter Hofbraeu AG hatten wir am 18.08.2000 eine Fuehrung durch Ihre Firma.Dies war fuer alle ein unvergessliches Erlebnis und ausgezeichnet durchgefuehrt.Dafür hier noch einmal von allen die dabei waren ein ganz herzliches Dankeschoen an die Fa.Weyermann!!!

Was stationed in Bamberg from 1961-1963 as a Lt. in US Army.Some of us went to a brewery that offered rauch(smoked)beer and food as well. I remember it being in a basement with large kegs,also associated with the Catholic church I believe. Am planning a visit to Bamberg this fall and would like to know if anyone can help me find the place remembered above.
